As a Senior NodeJS developer at Kickstage, you will be taking a leading role in our backend team. You will be designing the architecture, improving code quality, mentoring the less experienced developers as well doing some hand-on development.
Responsibilities
- Architectural guidance of our backend team
- Hands-on development on NodeJS with Postgres
- Work and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team, take a mentoring role for juniors
- Work closely with PM's to help specify tasks and requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with NodeJS
- Excellent command of ES6/TypeScript
- Experience with database systems and modern design patterns
- Experience with GoLang is a big plus
- Financial industry experience is a big plus
- Drive to write clean and maintainable code
- Great communication skills in English and willingness to participate in planning sessions
- Passion for knowledge-sharing and mentoring
- Docker / Kubernetes experience is a plus
